Recently, I encountered a problem while using StumbleUpon. And that was with sharing my website’s content. I kept on sharing a post after writing it on my blog and today I hit the limit.
So a quick Google search showed a reason for this.
And this reason made good sense too. StumbleUpon has kept this limit for a logical reason.
So, whenever you see this error from StumbleUpon:
Sorry, you can’t add any more pages from this site today. Please try again tomorrow.
There is only one thing you can do: keep sharing useful content from other websites too.
There is a ‘help’ article from the StumbleUpon FAQ pages and the reason this limit is enforced is because of one of the following reasons:
- The limit will be enforced if there is a multiple posting from a single account that leads to a single domain.
- Domains with the .tk extension
- Shortened URLs created with various URL shortening services – to avoid getting duplicates
- Domain names that use IP addresses.
These are some of the major reasons and for more you can visit here to read the article from StumbleUpon help page.
