SumoMe, with lots of love for its users, has created a suite of tools for bloggers like us to use. At the same time, they also introduced a way to hide their blue badge from showing up to your visitors – their way of showing unconditional love! However, that badge was the ‘go-to’ area for the admin to use to login to SumoMe.
What if the SumoMe badge is hidden and the user wants to login back to the SumoMe login dashboard?
There are four methods as suggested by SumoMe folks to get your blue tab back:
- Method # 1: Just go to http://sumome.com/ and type in the words ‘my’ after the forward slash in the URL. This will take you to the login page – and after logging in – the SumoMe blue tab will be back in its position for your website!
- Method # 2: Goto your website. After the end of your .com (or .net/.biz/.whatever), type in the following: “/#/sumome/app/login” and hit the enter key on your keyboard. That will bring your SumoMe login window right up on your screen.
- Method # 3: Within your website or blog, click on any empty space on the screen (not on any menu, button or URL), just a plain space that does nothing when clicked – type in the words sumome and hit the up arrow cursor key on your keyboard. TADA! The SumoMe login popup window shows up like a magic on your screen. This is also known as the ‘secret handshake’ method. Aptly named!
- Method # 4: (for Chrome users only): Get this Google Chrome Extension. This will help you get the SumoMe Login window back. Just install the extension, visit your website and click on the blue icon to login to your SumoMe dashboard.
